Dashboard for mastery-based learning

Greater Dayton School Logo
The Greater Dayton School combines mastery-based and blended learning. To support their model we created a unique platform that combines inputs from LMS and e-learning tools to track student performance, progress, and mastery at formative and summative levels.

“Our school uses a mastery-based and standards-based learning curriculum. Our teachers were going to multiple websites to review student data to make lesson plans. It was kind of messy. After interviewing various data integrators, we met Dana and the folks at Wavio.

Without hesitation, I would highly recommend their services. Their products are intuitive, and the customer service is higher than almost any vendor I've worked with. We have been very happy with them.”

Blended learning is core to the Khan Lab School model. Teachers monitor student progress in real-time and provide actionable feedback to their students. To scale this model to a classroom of 20+ students using 4+ apps each, the teachers needed a one-stop-shop to view all of their students' activities. We created a student dashboard platform for them.

“Having one application to check many different areas of study has saved time over opening up each application's website and navigating through their portals to run reports... I have all their information with just a few clicks.”

Wavio MTSS

East Palo Alto Academy is applying an MTMDSS model to help students reach their graduation requirements. We build them a custom-made platform to get a holistic view of school performance and student-specific needs and a one-stop-shop to record and monitor interventions.

“Wavio worked carefully and thoughtfully with us to create a Multi-Tiered, Multi-Domain System of Supports (MTMDSS) platform that has allowed us to meet the needs of our students, with keen attention to detail. More importantly, Wavio has given us the tools to find students who for many years were going unnoticed using our traditional methods of intervention.”
